i wrote about 2012 a couple weeks ago and thought that there was no real point in reviewing 2011. now, i’m thinking differently.
throughout the day i think a lot – here are some standouts from tonight:
- earlier today, i looked at my phone and saw the calendar icon with “28″ and thought: “really?” – i had to mentally check that 2011 was really about to end.
- i am so weird sometimes. i should let those weird thoughts out… no, i shouldn’t. paradox.

in these past couple of weeks the word discipline has been in my head.

at 330 am last night, i made some realizations about myself – all of which are negative so i’m not going to share here.
but, an idea popped into my head.
someone said to me that a lot of times we are afraid to offend our friends with harsh criticism.
some people just can’t take it.
there are only a few people that i know who have the “balls” to let it unleash.
with the idea of social media, social networking, social this and social that – what about social therapy? who do we turn to when we have problems? our friends.
oh, there’s a catch: it’s done anonymously. dangerous?
looking at the amazing places to eat in new york made me think why i can’t do that in toronto.
eating fancy is expensive.
eating out is expensive.
one has to give.
lists suck, but some are wonderful.
toronto restaurants i’ve been wanting to try, but have been too cheap to do so:
now is as good time as any.
i think these past couple months have nicely summarized my 2012:
